The single dropped May 1, marking Lizzo's first proper solo album in four years since 2022's Special and her 2025 mixtape My Face Hurts from Smiling. As shared in the announcement, Lizzo reclaims 'bitch' as a symbol of confidence and self-love, echoing her 2019 'Truth Hurts' declaration. The release builds hype for the full album, with pre-orders available.
