LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault visited Seoul on Monday, marking his first trip to South Korea in three years. He toured Louis Vuitton stores accompanied by his daughter Delphine Arnault.
Arnault visited the Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys Seoul space at the Shinsegae Department Store main branch. The large exhibition and dining area opened in November last year.
He also stopped by Louis Vuitton stores at Lotte Department Store's main branch and Jamsil branch, where he was joined by Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin. LVMH controls more than 65 brands across five sectors, including Louis Vuitton, Dior and Tiffany & Co.
The trip comes as South Korea has become a key luxury market in Asia. Arnault is scheduled to depart for Japan on Tuesday.
