Lydia Ko finished tied for 15th at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and remains focused on completing the career Grand Slam before her planned retirement.
Ko shot rounds of 76, 69, 69 and 70 at Hazeltine National in Chaska, Minnesota, to finish eight under par.
She has won three majors and needs one more to complete the career Grand Slam, either at the U.S. Women’s Open or the Women’s PGA Championship.
Ko, who turns 30 next April, said she plans to retire around that age and described the challenge of peaking at majors over several months.
Her next opportunity to finish the Grand Slam is expected in 11 months.
