A man in his 20s died after being found injured in an apartment in Sala Backe on Saturday morning. A man in his 30s is now detained on suspicion of murder.
Police were called to the address on Saturday morning. The man was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
Prosecutor Thomas Bälter announced on Tuesday afternoon that a man in his 30s has been detained on suspicion of murder. He stated that it concerns a conflict involving a weapon between the two individuals in the apartment and that there are currently no suspected gang connections.
The suspect denies the crime suspicions according to his defense lawyer Carl Forslund. An indictment is to be filed by August 25 at the latest but the prosecutor assesses that the time will probably need to be extended.
