Marcelo Culotta won the San Lorenzo club elections and will lead the institution until December 31, 2027. His Orden y Progreso Sanlorencista list defeated four rivals in the vote held this Saturday.
The elections took place at Estadio Pedro Bidegain with polling stations open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Culotta, 60, and a club member for five decades, headed the ticket alongside Juan Manuel Campos.
The new president will complete the term of Marcelo Moretti, removed after a scandal involving alleged bribe collection. Sergio Costantino had served as interim president following the leadership vacuum.
In remarks to Ámbito, Culotta pledged to focus on genuine revenue sources such as sponsorship and the kit contract, plus an aggressive campaign to attract and recover members.
