The new season of MasterChef Mexico begins Sunday, May 17 at 8:00 pm with open TV broadcast and continuous streaming access.
The culinary reality show MasterChef 24/7 debuts with an innovative format that lets the public follow participants’ activities around the clock in the so-called MasterChef World. The main broadcast airs on Azteca UNO while Disney+ provides permanent coverage throughout the competition weeks.
The weekly schedule features mystery box challenges on Mondays and public votes on Fridays to save contestants at risk. The program ends each Sunday with an elimination gala.
Judges Zahie Téllez, Poncho Cadena and Adrián Herrera return to the panel. Four Maestros del Fuego, including Lili Cuéllar and Édgar Núñez, will give classes and constant guidance. Chef Adrián Herrera noted the new scheme will raise standards: “Now present me a well-made dish with the correct technique and that the dish is up to MasterChef level”.
Julio Vázquez is the first confirmed participant after winning a prior TikTok challenge. The remaining contestants will be revealed during the premiere.
