The Apple TV comedy Brothers starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson will premiere on September 23 with the first two episodes.
The eight-episode series follows the actors as fictionalized versions of themselves whose friendship unravels after they learn they may be brothers. The plot centers on a disrupted wedding and an extended stay at a Texas ranch that leads to family revelations and a potential gubernatorial run.
Episodes will continue weekly after the premiere and conclude on November 4. Holland Taylor plays McConaughey's mother in the cast that also includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi and others.
McConaughey and Harrelson previously worked together on the first season of True Detective in 2014 and the 1999 film EDtv. They serve as executive producers alongside Lee Eisenberg.
