Finnish forward Miikka Pitkänen has left HockeyAllsvenskan to join Nottingham Panthers in the EIHL for the 2026/27 season. The 30-year-old was presented by the club this week after two and a half seasons in Sweden.
Pitkänen spent time with Södertälje SK and Nybro, recording 59 points in 93 games. He previously played 11 seasons in Finland's Liiga league.
The player said the move represents a strong opportunity.
Coach Danny Stewart praised the signing. Nottingham won the British championship in 2025.
