The sixth annual MLB Draft Combine is scheduled to begin Tuesday at Chase Field in Phoenix. The event runs through Friday and features 334 prospects.
The home of the Arizona Diamondbacks will host the four-day event for the fourth straight year. Participants include 194 collegiate players and 140 high school athletes, with 192 of MLB Pipeline's Top 200 prospects also taking part.
MLB Network will provide live coverage starting at noon ET on Tuesday. The broadcast includes on-field workouts, batting practice, and interviews with players and club officials. Additional workouts will stream on MLB.TV and MLB.com on Wednesday.
Players at the combine can meet team executives and participate in educational programs. Those completing a medical exam are guaranteed at least 75 percent of their assigned pick value in the draft, set for July 11-12 in Philadelphia.
Past combines have helped prospects improve their draft stock, with several advancing quickly to the major leagues.
