Mumford & Sons and the Strokes to headline Sea.Hear.Now festival

Mumford & Sons and the Strokes will headline the 2026 Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on September 19 and 20. The event features more than 25 musical acts across three stages, a surf contest and art installations. Tickets go on presale Wednesday.

The Sea.Hear.Now Festival returns to Asbury Park, New Jersey, for its 2026 edition on September 19 and 20, with Mumford & Sons topping the bill on Saturday and the Strokes closing out Sunday on the beachfront stages at North Beach and Bradley Park. Organizers announced a stacked lineup including the Offspring, Fontaines D.C., Chaka Khan and Pixies among the performers. Saturday's acts also feature the War on Drugs, the All-American Rejects, Shaggy, Men at Work, Susanna Hoffs and Fitz and the Tantrums. Sunday brings Goo Goo Dolls, Moby, Ziggy Marley, Kim Gordon and Ben Howard to the stages. Beyond the music, the festival includes a two-day surf contest with East Coast professionals such as Sam Hammer, Cassidy McClain, Cam Richards, Balaram Stack and Rob Kelly. The Transparency Gallery will display artwork from lineup musicians alongside pop-up performances, with proceeds supporting Asbury Park charities. Presale tickets become available on March 26 at 10 a.m. ET, followed by general on-sale at 11 a.m. ET for remaining inventory. Mumford & Sons recently released their sixth album, Prizefighter, in February and are also booked for Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky, from September 24 to 27. The Strokes, whose last album The New Abnormal came out in 2020, will headline Shaky Knees in Atlanta from September 18 to 20, in addition to sets at Coachella and Bonnaroo.
