Netflix will release its sequel to the classic sitcom A Different World on September 24. The series returns to Hillman College with seven original cast members reprising their roles.
The announcement came during Netflix's Celebration of Black Television at the American Black Film Festival. Showrunner Felicia Pride, executive producer Debbie Allen and star Maleah Joi Moon presented the first teaser trailer for the single-camera dramedy.
Netflix released first-look photos Monday for its upcoming sequel series to A Different World. The 10-episode show is scheduled to debut on the streaming service Thursday, Sept. 24. It centers on the daughter of original characters Whitley and Dwayne as she attends Hillman College.
