Organisers of the David Bowie exhibition at London's Lightroom have announced a series of additional live events, album playbacks and talks running through the rest of the year.
The immersive David Bowie: You’re Not Alone experience continues daily at the King’s Cross venue until October, with evening screenings now extended until January. A special celebration is also planned for January 8 next year to mark what would have been Bowie’s 80th birthday.
Newly added events include Adam Buxton’s BUG Bowie Specials on July 2, 3 and 4. Cellist Peter Gregson will perform on September 3, 4 and 5, responding to Bowie and Brian Eno’s Berlin-era work.
Pitch Black Playback album listening parties in complete darkness are scheduled for July 28, August 4 and August 11. Bowie Nights will feature a free outdoor concert in Coal Drops Yard on August 13.
On September 25, Bowie’s former publicist Alan Edwards will interview Geoff MacCormack and Jérôme Soligny about their new book. Highlights from the David Bowie archive will tour the UK from November, and Bowie’s Glastonbury 2000 band reunites for Live On The Loch on November 7 and 8.
