Nintendo has announced price increases for the Switch 2 console across several regions. The changes follow investor concerns over profitability and will take effect at different times depending on the market.
The company said the Switch 2 will cost more beginning May 25 in Japan, where the price rises from ¥49,980 to ¥59,980. In the United States, Canada, and Europe the new prices start September 1, moving from $449.99 to $499.99, from $629.99 to $679.99, and from €469.99 to €499.99 respectively.
