The National Transport and Safety Authority will experience intermittent system unavailability starting Tuesday afternoon to migrate to a new eLogbook platform.
The National Transport and Safety Authority has announced that its online system will experience intermittent unavailability from 4pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, to 8am on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Director General Nashon Kondiwa stated that the downtime is required to facilitate a smooth transition to the eLogbook system. The new platform, integrated with the eCitizen portal, is designed to replace paper-based logbooks with digital records featuring encryption and QR-code verification. It will allow vehicle ownership transfers to be completed online without visiting NTSA offices. The authority apologised for any inconvenience and said the change aims to improve service delivery while reducing fraud in vehicle ownership transfers.
