The National Wrestling Alliance will bring back its all-women's Empowerrr show on August 28 after a five-year hiatus. NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions Kenzie and Kylie Paige are co-producing the event at the Sevierville Civic Center in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The second NWA Empowerrr will air free on the promotion's YouTube channel. It takes place five years to the day after the first edition, which was held at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri.
NWA owner William Patrick Corgan said in a statement that the event aims to provide a platform for those who need to be heard. He credited the Paige sisters, who also operate the NWA affiliate Kross Fire, with booking the card.
No additional talent has been announced yet. NWA World Women's Champion Tiffany Nieves and NWA World Women's Television Champion Gisele Shaw are expected to appear.
