Of the Trees releases concept album Moonglade Park

Colorado-based producer Of the Trees has unveiled his latest album, Moonglade Park, on February 13, 2026. The 10-track project blends IDM, hip-hop, and bass elements in a thoughtful concept centered on a fictional national park. Collaborations with artists like Earthgang and Elohim enrich the album's immersive world.

Of the Trees, the stage name of producer Tyler Coombs, describes Moonglade Park as a culmination of his creative journey. 'This project is a culmination of everything from my creative journey that has led me to this point,' Coombs says. 'It feels like the first truly “complete” release I’ve been able to put together, in the sense that I’ve always intended to build up my release projects to this scale, but Of The Trees never had the resources to do so.'

The album unites textured intelligent dance music (IDM) with swaggering hip-hop and low-end bass sounds, establishing Of the Trees as a leader in the live bass scene. Designed as a concept album, it imagines a fictional national park to host its creative world, featuring contributions from Earthgang, Player Dave, Elohim, and other collaborators. Coombs emphasizes the collaborative effort: 'I didn’t do it alone, either. I assembled the absolute A-Team, for all of the different facets of the world we built surrounding the music, which is truly a testament to how fortunate I am to have been in this scene for as long as I am. ... It truly takes a village to bring projects like this to life.'

Billboard highlights the release as one of the strongest dance albums of the year so far, amid a broader week in dance music that includes SoundCloud's report on electronic music's growth as the platform's fastest-growing genre in the U.S. The report notes that electronic uploads rose from one in four tracks in 2020 to more than one in three in 2025, with dubstep surging.
