Forward Oscar Davidsson has left HV71 for HC Vita Hästen in Hockeyettan. The move follows an agreement to part ways reached on Friday.
HV71 announced on Friday that the club and Davidsson had agreed to end their collaboration. The decision was made to give the young forward more playing time to support his continued development.
Davidsson expressed disappointment with the split but reflected positively on his time in Jönköping. He joined HV71's junior program ahead of the 2022/23 season and appeared in 31 SHL games along with 22 junior international matches, with additional time loaned to Vimmerby in Hockeyallsvenskan.
HC Vita Hästen welcomed the signing. Sportchef Fredrik Jensen highlighted Davidsson's experience from higher levels despite his young age and said the club was pleased he had chosen to continue his career there.
