Peaches releases title track for new album 'No Lube So Rude'

Performance artist Peaches has unveiled the explicit title track and music video for her seventh studio album, 'No Lube So Rude', set for release on February 20, 2026. The project, her first full-length in over a decade, blends industrial, punk, and electronic dance music while addressing themes of bodily autonomy. An accompanying North American tour will follow, supporting trans-led organizations.

Peaches, known for her provocative pop performances, has dropped the title track and video for 'No Lube So Rude', her upcoming album via Kill Rock Stars. Recorded in Berlin with producer The Squirt Deluxe, the 11-track record explores modern tensions through a raw mix of genres. Peaches describes the title as a metaphor for navigating friction in contemporary life, stating that “lube isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity” to transform it into pleasure and power.

The music video, a bold statement against sexual repression, was produced by erotic filmmaker Erika Lust and directed by Matt Lambert, with choreography from Constanza Macras. Shot at Berlin's Queer Wagen Collective Marzipan, it features Peaches alongside local underground artists.

This release builds on prior singles “Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business” and “Fuck Your Face,” which set the tone for discussions on identity and autonomy. Critics already view the album as a highlight for 2026, merging personal expression with political edge.

On release day, Peaches kicks off a 27-date North American tour, joined by Model/Actriz, Cortisa Star, and Pixel Grip. Through a PLUS1 partnership, $1 from each ticket aids the Trans Justice Funding Project for U.S. trans-led groups. The tour extends to Europe and the UK in April, including a headline show at London's O2 Kentish Town Forum on April 20, 2026. Live performances will showcase costumes by Charlie Le Mindu, incorporating repurposed opera pieces and a vintage leather jacket from Peaches' late sister.

Tracklist includes: Hanging Titties, Fuck Your Face, No Lube So Rude, Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Panna Cotta Delight, Fuck How You Wanna Fuck, Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business, Take It, You’re Alright, and Be Love.
