Pete Crow-Armstrong hit two home runs to help the Chicago Cubs rally for a 3-2 walk-off victory against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday at Wrigley Field.
Crow-Armstrong finished 4-for-5 with two homers, two RBIs and two runs scored. His second homer in the ninth inning tied the game and forced extra innings after the Giants had taken a 2-1 lead. In the 10th inning Michael Busch delivered a single that scored automatic runner Dansby Swanson for the winning run. The Cubs improved to a major league-leading eight walk-off victories this season. Ben Brown pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings to keep Chicago in the game. Cubs manager Craig Counsell praised Crow-Armstrong's performance, noting he has offensively won two of the team's last three victories.
