The Popular Party of Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla wins with 53 seats in the May 17 2026 Andalusian parliament elections, two short of an absolute majority. The PSOE records its worst historical result with 28 deputies, while Adelante Andalucía achieves a strong rise to 8 seats.
Official results confirm that the PP achieves 41.3 % of the vote and 53 seats, five fewer than in 2022. Turnout rose notably compared with the previous elections, influencing the final distribution.
Vox obtains 15 deputies, one more than in the previous legislature, and becomes the key to Moreno’s investiture. Santiago Abascal’s party has already demanded the application of “national priority” in access to public services.
The PSOE of María Jesús Montero remains at 28 seats, its historical minimum in Andalusia. Adelante Andalucía, led by José Ignacio García, quadruples its representation and reaches 8 deputies, surpassing Por Andalucía, which stays at 5.
