Vox's National Executive Committee has approved the lists for the May 17 Andalusian elections, retaining all its male deputies except one while excluding or relegating its five current female deputies to low positions. Vox has renewed its electoral lists for the May 17 Andalusian Parliament elections, prioritizing the continuity of its male deputies. Of the current 14, only Córdoba's Alejandro Hernández is excluded; he negotiated three budgets with Juanma Moreno's government. The five female deputies—Mercedes Rodríguez (Almería), Blanca Armario (Cádiz), Cristina Alejandra Jiménez (Granada), Purificación Fernández (Málaga), and Ana Ruiz Vázquez (Sevilla)—do not repeat in viable positions or are absent from the lists.
Manuel Gavira will head the Cádiz list as the presidential candidate. Javier Cortés (Sevilla), Antonio Sevilla (Málaga), Rodrigo Alonso (Almería), Benito Morillo (Jaén), and Rafael Segovia (Huelva) repeat as number ones. Beatriz Sánchez for Granada and Paula Badanelli for Córdoba join as list heads.
In 2022, Vox secured 14 seats with 13.46% of votes, placing third. The lists comply with the zipper list law, alternating men and women, despite the party's historical opposition to gender equality policies. Polls suggest potential growth that could challenge Juanma Moreno's PP absolute majority of 58 seats.
