The group stage of the 2026 World Cup has concluded for most teams, with 32 nations now qualified for the knockout rounds.
Twelve groups took part in the expanded 48-team tournament. The top two from each group and the eight best third-placed teams advance to the round of 16.
Mexico, which finished in Group A, will face Ecuador on June 30 at Estadio Ciudad de México. The round of 16 matches run from June 28 to July 3.
Qualified teams include Brazil, Argentina, France, Germany, Spain, England and the United States. Teams such as Qatar, Uruguay and South Korea were eliminated.
The best third-placed table includes Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ecuador and Sweden, which also advanced.
