Queen has previewed its upcoming reissue of the 1974 album Queen II with a new 2026 mix of the single Seven Seas of Rhye. The track, the band's first UK top-10 hit, is now available digitally. The full Collector's Edition box set arrives on March 27.
Queen, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, is set to reissue its sophomore album Queen II on March 27 with enhanced content. The preview comes in the form of a 2026 mix of "Seven Seas of Rhye," which originally peaked at number 10 on the UK charts in 1974, marking the band's debut top-10 success.
The Queen II Collector's Edition is a comprehensive five-CD and two-LP box set. It includes the full 2026 mix of the album alongside bonus materials such as previously unreleased outtakes, demos, live recordings, radio sessions, and studio audio capturing the band's recording process. Accompanying the set is a 112-page book featuring rare photographs, handwritten lyrics, and recollections from the band about the album's creation.
For those seeking more accessible options, the reissue is also offered as a two-CD deluxe edition and a single-LP vinyl pressing. All versions are currently available for preorder. This project highlights Queen's ongoing efforts to revisit and expand access to its early catalog, originally released in 1974.
