Delivery platform Rappi recorded a high volume of last-minute orders in Colombia for Mother's Day. Approximately 230,000 food orders and more than 25,000 flower bouquets were processed. The average spending ticket reached 120,000 pesos.
Data reported by Rappi shows that impulse purchases drove activity on the platform. Orders ranged from an average of 120,000 pesos to as much as 2 million pesos in exceptional cases.
More than 630 florists participated actively, selling around 50,000 arrangements per month with increases of up to 130 percent on special dates. Other segments such as desserts, breakfasts and bakery also showed notable growth.
Compared to the previous year, the platform experienced an increase of up to 70 percent in orders during Mother's Day Sunday in 2025. This year florists contributed to an overall 45 percent growth in orders.
