Real Madrid have agreed terms to sign Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries for €20 million. The club is also in talks with Ibrahima Konaté.
Real Madrid will trigger Dumfries’ release clause to complete the transfer. The Netherlands international has made 207 appearances and scored 27 goals for Inter since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in 2021. Ibrahima Konaté has reached a verbal agreement to join Madrid from Liverpool. His move depends on the outcome of the club’s presidential election scheduled for June 7. If Florentino Pérez is re-elected, Konaté is expected to move to the Santiago Bernabéu. José Mourinho is also set to return for a second spell as head coach under the same condition.
