Real Madrid has closed its investigation into the training-ground clash between Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni, fining both midfielders €500,000 after they apologised.
Following the May 7 incident that left Valverde with a minor head injury, the club has now concluded disciplinary proceedings. Both players accepted the sanctions and issued apologies. Valverde, who had already explained on social media that the argument stemmed from fatigue and that no punches were thrown, will resume training once medically cleared.
