A restaurant owner in Luleå is sentenced to three and a half years in prison after police found seven kilos of amphetamine in his restaurant and car.
In March, police stopped a car on the E10 road in Överkalix municipality. Two kilos of amphetamine were found in vacuum bags. The car was driven by the restaurant owner and a man in his thirties.
During a search of the restaurant, police found another five kilos of amphetamine and other narcotics. Most of it was hidden in the basement.
The district court sentenced the restaurant owner to 3.5 years in prison for serious drug crime and accounting offenses. He also received a three-year business ban. The other man was sentenced to three years in prison for serious drug crime. The sentences were reduced due to the drug's low purity of two percent.
