He admitted to numerous 'infidelities and sins' over 29 years of marriage, stating, "I acknowledge that during 29 years of marriage, I committed many infidelities and sins against my wife Atalia, so this separation is her right to happiness in her life without me in it."
Ridwan specifically apologized to his mother for possible disappointment, his children for the emotional impact now in the public eye, and broadly to all affected parties: "From the deepest part of my heart, with this I extend my apologies to all parties and all those affected by the commotion that should not have happened."
The statement did not address viral 2023 photos suggesting closeness with singer Aura Kasih during an Italy vacation. Aura's lawyer, Yanti Nurdin, denied the rumors, stating, "Regarding the gossip, let me add, it's all not true," and indicated plans to gather evidence for a potential defamation report. Another lawyer, Alexander Januar Gaodilliam, noted Aura's discomfort but focus on child custody.
