Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo won the Mars Badminton Horse Trials for a record third time on 10 May after a clear showjumping round. The pair finished 8.2 penalties ahead of the field to make history at the event.
Ros Canter piloted the 14-year-old gelding around the final phase with two time-faults to seal victory. She said she was stunned by the achievement and in awe of how the horse jumped. Canter added that she felt lucky to balance motherhood with elite sport after the birth of her second daughter less than four months ago.
