Oscar Zago, Ramiro Marra and Eduardo Falcone publicly demanded Manuel Adorni's removal as chief of cabinet. The criticism came from sectors close to the government despite Javier Milei's support.
Oscar Zago, president of the MID bloc, said Adorni should resign for the good of the president, the government and all Argentines. The legislator maintained that the official's continuity represents an institutional problem.
Ramiro Marra, founder of La Libertad Avanza, sent a letter to Milei stating that Adorni had completed a cycle and that his permanence harms the libertarian project. Eduardo Falcone, MID deputy, said the situation harms the government and that allies are the only ones willing to demand the resignation.
Javier Milei reaffirmed his support for the official and ruled out asking for his resignation. The statements by allied leaders marked a change because for the first time the harshest criticism comes from within the libertarian space and not only from the opposition.
