Speculation is growing that Nintendo will hold a Direct presentation next week to mark the Switch 2's first anniversary.
Leakers including Jeff Grubb and NateTheHate have indicated that the event could air on the morning of June 9. NateTheHate stated that the showcase will take place during the second week of June. The rumored timing would place the Direct at the end of Summer Game Fest and coincide with the Switch 2's one-year anniversary. Nintendo has traditionally used June for major presentations, though recent patterns have varied. Among the titles expected to feature are a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time slated for the holiday period, a second Star Fox game, and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, which still lacks a release date.
