Nintendo held a Direct presentation on June 9 that announced dozens of games for the Switch and Switch 2. Highlights included a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Kingdom Hearts IV.
The presentation opened with Rhythm Heaven Groove, set for release on July 2. It features 80 new mini-games and over 30 multiplayer modes. Capcom revealed Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Switch 2 on September 25 and Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for October 9. Other third-party titles included Stellar Blade later in 2026 and Lies of P: Complete Edition on August 6. Nintendo confirmed enhanced Switch 2 editions of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, with the first available immediately. A new entry, Xenoblade Genesis, arrives in 2027. The event closed with the Ocarina of Time remake launching later this year and Kingdom Hearts IV coming to Switch 2 at launch.
