Ryu Hwayoung took the stage at the event while performing her DJ set. Her fiancé appeared as her one-day manager, prompting the idol to introduce him before making the symbolic proposal and thanking him for agreeing to marry her.
The couple announced their engagement earlier this year on social media, where Ryu described her partner as dependable and caring. She later shared a photoshoot revealing his face publicly for the first time.
Ryu debuted with T-ARA in 2010 and later pursued acting in dramas such as Mad Dog and The Beauty Inside. The pair is scheduled to wed in September 2026.
