Shohei Ohtani hit a solo home run Tuesday night to end an 11-game power drought, but the Los Angeles Dodgers still lost 6-2 to the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium.
Ohtani led off the game with a single and then drove a 93.9 mph sinker from Giants starter Adrian Houser into the left-center seats in the third inning. The blast was his seventh of the season and first since April 26. It briefly gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead after Giants catcher Eric Haase had tied the game earlier in the inning with a solo shot of his own.
