Sweetens Cove Golf Club in rural Tennessee has unveiled expansion plans that include a new 13-hole short course and overnight accommodations. The nine-hole facility aims to grow while maintaining its original operating model of all-day passes without tee times.
The blueprint, released earlier this month, features a short course designed to overlap the existing layout for flexible cross-country play. Additional elements include a restaurant, bar, bottle shop, micro-distillery, and one-bedroom cabins set to open in phases starting late next year.
Further additions will encompass a putting green, three golf simulator bays, club fitting services, a fishing dock, skeet shooting range, and an octagon-shaped events barn. Ownership, which includes Peyton Manning, Andy Roddick, and Reef Capital Partners, intends to preserve the course's casual ethos.
Rob Collins described the vision as the ultimate 24-hour golf playground. The property opened in 2014 west of Chattanooga and has operated on a pass-based system that often sells out for the season.
