Tate McRae has shared new social media visuals that fans interpret as hints of upcoming music.
Days before headlining Osheaga and Lollapalooza, the singer posted on Instagram with a minimalist aesthetic and the caption “Montreal, Chicago. See u soon.” Posters appeared in Chicago showing her festival dates along with the numbers “10 1,” which some fans read as a possible Oct. 1 announcement.
McRae also shared a TikTok from the photoshoot captioned “Hi I’m Tate McRae and ur watching Disney Channel.” She has not confirmed any new release.
The posts mark a shift from the style of her So Close to What album. McRae is scheduled to perform at Osheaga in Montreal on Aug. 1 and at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug. 2.
