A three-way match has been made official for the July 18 episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX. The winner will earn a shot at the vacated AAA Latin American Championship.
WWE announced the bout featuring El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Abismo Negro Jr. and Texano Jr. The match determines the next challenger after El Hijo del Vikingo suffered a knee injury requiring surgery, leading AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio to vacate the title.
The newly reformed Perros del Mal faction is also scheduled to appear on the episode. Members include Daga, Karmen Petrovic, Bronco Nima, Angel and Berto.
The group is feuding with El Grande Americano after an ambush upon their return. AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio sided with El Grande Americano and called out Perros del Mal for a tag team match.
The episode airs immediately following Saturday Night’s Main Event on YouTube and Facebook.
