Egmont is buying Tidningen Vi and Vi läser from Kooperativa Förbundet. The takeover will take place in September.
After more than a hundred years under Kooperativa Förbundet ownership, the magazines are getting new owners. Story House Egmont will take over publication in September.
Tidningen Vi editor-in-chief Markus Wilhelmson is cautiously positive about the ownership change.
– We will hopefully have quite a lot to gain, he says.
Jonas Fröberg describes the deal as the end point of a Swedish era. Tidningen Vi is sold to the same company that publishes Ica-Kuriren.
