WWE United States Champion Trick Williams has challenged Hall of Famer Booker T to a match at SummerSlam in 2027.
Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Williams proposed the bout as a potential main event for the championship. He highlighted the historical significance, noting it would mark the first time two Black men main event SummerSlam since Booker T faced The Rock in 2001.
Booker T responded that he never says never to future matches. He said the 2027 timeframe gives him time to assess whether he can prepare physically for one more high-intensity match.
Booker T's most recent WWE in-ring appearance came at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Williams continues to compete regularly for WWE.
