U.S. President Donald Trump made 18 trades in Coupang Inc. shares, according to financial disclosure reports.
Financial disclosure reports released in Washington showed that President Donald Trump traded Coupang Inc. shares 18 times from Oct. 9 to May 22 through two investment accounts managed by others. The transactions ranged in value from $1,001 to $250,000.
The disclosures gained attention amid tensions between Seoul and Washington over South Korean probes into a Coupang data breach that affected more than 33 million users. A House Judiciary Committee staff report and a White House official described the investigations as discriminatory.
The reports suggested Trump could hold up to $130,000 worth of Coupang stock. The White House did not respond to a request for comment.
