The men's singles final of Indonesia Master II 2025 took place at GOR PBSI Sumatera Utara in Medan on Sunday (October 26, 2025). Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah, familiarly called Ubed, defeated China's Dong Tian Yao convincingly 21-11, 21-8. Ubed expressed gratitude for the win, achieved without injury and as per his game plan.

The match started tightly, but Ubed stayed calm and focused. He had prepared for his tall opponent's aggressive style. "I took the court position against the wind first with a mindset ready to tire and fight on the court. From the toss, I tried to control and limit the opponent's attacks; even in attacking positions, I didn't rush," Ubed said.

This marks Ubed's first senior title, following two silver medals in junior championships. Crowd support energized him throughout. "I dedicate this victory to my parents and family who always pray for me, to Indonesia, PBSI, and PB Djarum. Moving forward, I hope for better results and greater achievements," he stated.

Ubed's win adds to the highlights of Indonesia Master 2025, where other Indonesian athletes like Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin in men's doubles and Marwan/Aisyah in mixed doubles also claimed titles.
