Usher ended an onstage routine early during his Nashville concert when a fan appeared uneasy. The moment occurred on July 25 at Nissan Stadium.
Usher invited a woman onto the stage midway through his set during a performance of “Can U Handle It?” from his 2004 album Confessions. A shirtless Usher knelt beside a bed prop and began a sensual routine, but the fan grew visibly uncomfortable.
Noticing her reaction, Usher stopped the performance. He told the audience, “I don’t think she want to be on the stage,” then removed his earpieces and signaled for her to leave.
The incident took place during the Nashville stop of the Raymond & Brown Tour with Chris Brown. The co-headlining trek began on June 26 in Denver and runs through December with stops in several major cities.
Fan reactions spread quickly online, with some questioning why the woman went onstage while others praised her response.
