Vin Diesel, the star and producer of the Fast & Furious franchise, shared on Instagram that he has created a role for Cristiano Ronaldo in Fast X: Part 2. In the caption accompanying a photo of himself with the soccer icon, Diesel wrote, “Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him…” Ronaldo has not yet confirmed his involvement.

Fast X: Part 2 marks the 12th and final installment in the long-running action series, which began in 2001. Directed by Louis Leterrier, who helmed the previous entry Fast X, the movie is scripted by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel. It is scheduled to hit theaters in April 2027. The production will return to Los Angeles, as confirmed by Diesel earlier this year, following wildfires that impacted filming locations.
