At the gathering in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Xi conferred the July 1 Medal, the Party's highest honor, on model CPC members. He also stressed absolute Party leadership over the people's armed forces and efforts to achieve the goals for the centenary of the People's Liberation Army in 2027.
Xi highlighted the Party's unshakable commitment to resolving the Taiwan question and realizing China's complete reunification. He further emphasized promoting long-term prosperity and stability in Hong Kong and Macao while advancing a community with a shared future for humanity.
The CPC now has nearly 101.29 million members and over 5.43 million primary-level Party organizations, according to the latest census.
