በአፍሪካ ሕብረት ጉባኤ ጎን ጎን በተደረጉ ውይይቶች ውስጥ ኢትዮጵያ አዲስ ቢሾፍቱ አየር ማረፊያ ፕሮጀክት ለዋል ስትሪት ዘይቤ በመጠቀም የአየር ንብረት ለውጥ ግብር ትግበራ እየደረጋ ነው። የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ የ700 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ውጪ ኢንቨስትመንት በመጨመር የ12.5 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ጠቅላላ ወጪ ያለውን ፕሮጀክት በልዩ ዕቅድ ኩባንያ በመቆጣጠር ትንቀሳቅሳለች።

በአዲጋላ-ጅቡቲ ፕሮጀክት ኢትዮጵያ ለጅቡቲ የምታቀርበው የንጹህ መጠጥ ውሃ ከአፍሪካ ሕብረት 2063 አጀንዳ ትልም ጋር ይገናኛል ተብሎ ተገለጸ። ይህን በ48ኛው የሥራ አስፈጻሚዎች ስብሰባ የመሰረተ ልማትና ኢነርጂ ዘርፍ ኮሚሽነር ላታቦር ዲ ማታቦጅ አስተውያለ።
ኢትዮጵያ በአማራ ክልል መንግስት እና አማራ ፋኖ ህዝብ ተቋም (AFPO) መካከል የሰላም ስምምነት ፈተረች በአፍሪካ ዩኒዮን እና IGAD በመደበኝነት ተፈጥሯል። ይህ ከሁለት አመታት በላይ ጀምሮ የተነሳ ግጭት ጀምሮ የመጀመሪያው መደበኛ ስምምነት ነው። ክልላዊ ባለስልጣናት ይህን ለጭንቀት እና ደህንነት አስፈላጊ ክፍተት ብለው ይመለከታሉ፣ ግን ተንታኞች በአዲስ አበባ በፖለቲካዊ እና ደህንነት ችግሮች ላይ ከመቋቋም በላይ ተጽዕኖ የሚያሳድር አይደለም ብለው ይንጸባርቃሉ።
