IO Interactive's James Bond game 007 First Light has sold 2.7 million copies in its first week, with the total now approaching 3 million. Studio director Hakan Abrak shared the figures during a press presentation following the Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase.
The title reached 1.5 million sales within 24 hours of release. Abrak noted that players have started 34 million missions so far, with a 30 percent success rate. Wine bottles account for 36 percent of all thrown items, while the social conditioning skill bluff has been used more than 10 million times. New Game+ mode is scheduled for a future update. Most Year One content will be offered free to owners of the game. The first post-launch mission sends players back to Aleph to assist the character Bawma, played by Lenny Kravitz. Abrak confirmed these details during the event in the United States, highlighting ongoing support for the title without requiring additional purchases.
