The agreement between PP and Vox in Andalusia will lead to changes in the Parliament board, with Ana Mestre proposed as new president and Jesús Aguirre as senator.
The Popular Group plans to propose Ana Mestre, current first vice-president and deputy for Cádiz, as president of the Andalusian Parliament. This follows the government pact with Vox, which will take over that vice-presidency.
Jesús Aguirre, current president of the chamber, would be appointed senator by autonomous designation. The plenary session to formalize these changes is scheduled for July 23.
Juanma Moreno, president of the Junta, announced these adjustments last Thursday. Meetings of the Board and the Board of Spokespersons on July 15 could define the agenda.
