Boca Juniors confirmed that goalkeeper Álvaro Montero will arrive in the country on Monday night and undergo medical studies on Tuesday. Forward Sebastián Villa will take the tests in the coming hours.
The club issued an official statement with the details of the signings. Montero, who belongs to Millonarios, will sign for four years if no issues arise in the studies.
Villa, for his part, returns after time in Bulgaria and at Independiente Rivadavia. Boca will pay 6.5 million dollars for his full transfer and the player will also sign for four seasons.
These arrivals add to that of full-back Leandro Lozano. Neither of the two new players would reach the Thursday tie against Sarmiento for the Copa Argentina.
