Omelete Company, organizer of CCXP, announced the festival's expansion to South Korea, with the first edition in Seoul set for 2027. The announcement was made by CEO Pierre Mantovani during Spoiler Night in Brazil. The partnership with EXPORUM Inc. aims to strengthen cultural exchange between the two countries.
CCXP, the largest pop culture festival in Latin America, took a major step in its international expansion by announcing CCXP Korea, scheduled for 2027 in Seoul. The announcement was made during Spoiler Night, the opening night of CCXP 2025 in São Paulo, on Wednesday, December 3.
Pierre Mantovani, CEO of Omelete Company, presented the news in an institutional session. He invited Chandler Kim, Senior Manager at EXPORUM Inc., who will serve as Operations Director for CCXP Korea. The partnership with EXPORUM, which specializes in events like PopCon, provides expertise in the South Korean market.
The edition will follow the model of previous international ones in Mexico and Germany, featuring established areas such as Palco Thunder, Palco Omelete, Artists’ Valley, and Cosplay Universe. Details on exact dates, precise location, tickets, and programming will be released soon through official channels.
Mantovani highlighted the strategy: “South Korea is one of the world's most dynamic cultural markets. Expanding CCXP to the country is a natural step in the brand's global evolution, and we are thrilled to carry out this project alongside EXPORUM Inc.”. The initiative, developed over the past five years, aims to build cultural bridges, introducing Brazilian talents to Korean audiences and celebrating South Korean culture's global influence.
