Copesa hands journalistic archive to universidad del desarrollo

Copesa delivered its documentation center to Universidad del Desarrollo. The material includes thousands of editions of historic Chilean newspapers and magazines.

The handover marks a milestone for preserving journalistic heritage. Carolina Mardones, dean of the Communications Faculty at UDD, discussed the topic on the program Desde la Redacción.

The archive contains editions of La Tercera, Pulso, La Hora and La Época, plus magazines such as Qué Pasa, Hoy, Paula and Estadio. UDD will safeguard these documents.

The university is also launching a La Tercera-UDD chair on this heritage, with participation from former La Tercera directors.
